Migrants’ Rights and Advocacy Project
Through a multifaceted approach, YAZCONSULT has spearheaded projects targeting critical areas such as migrant workers’ rights, advocating for the abolition of the kafala system, gender laws, and juvenile justice reform. Each project underscores YAZCONSULT’s commitment to fostering equitable legal frameworks that uphold the dignity and rights of all human beings.
Battery Waste Management – Legal Framework Project
YAZCONSULT brings to the forefront a wealth of expertise in legislation-related endeavors, including some in the realm of environmental laws. Through meticulous study and active engagement, YAZCONSULT has undertaken numerous projects aimed at understanding and improving environmental legislation, one of which is the comprehensive analysis of the current and potential batteries value chain in Lebanon – Study of the legal framework “Retrofitting of public buildings through green technologies and processes (RE- FIT)” project.
Gender Equality Legal Instruments Project
In 2021, NCLW and UNFPA agreed to implement activities aimed at promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in Lebanon. As part of these efforts, they sought to analyze Lebanese legal instruments, including community laws, from a gender perspective.

Juvenile Law Amendment Project
As part of the UNICEF’s legislative project aiming at amending law 422/2002, YAZCONSULT’s Head of Research Department has been tasked with providing technical support for the amendment of Law 422/2002 (Protection of Children in Violation of the Law or Exposed to Danger) with the Child Protection section. This law is a critical component of safeguarding children’s rights and ensuring their well-being. The tasks were executed by the head of the research department’s team, with the assistance and collaboration of YAZCONSULT’s entire team.
Cement Quarry Sites Rehabilitation Project
YAZCONSULT was appointed as a member and legal advisor to the Committee for Monitoring and Supervising the Implementation of a Project for Rehabilitating Quarry Sites of Cement Companies, established by the Lebanese Council of Ministers through Decision Number 4 dated 14/7/2020.
